When you suffer from pain, it rules your life. In addition to being a source of constant worry, it can be quite debilitating, keeping people from the activities they enjoy most. Pain can make simple tasks like lifting groceries or playing with children and grandchildren difficult. It can interfere with sleep, productive work, and personal relationships.

Pain can also lead to anxiety and depression. For advanced non-narcotic, nonsurgical and minimally-invasive care that can relieve pain and get your patient back to an active life, Western Rockies Interventional Pain Specialists can help. Abdominal and Pelvic Pain
Report
Some of the most common types of pain that people experience are often abdominal and pelvic pain. Due to the fact that this area is where your back and spine meet your hips and lower body, it can easily become a place that stores a lot of pressure. In some cases, this can be easily treated, but in other cases, this can cause more acute issues that can lead to further injury.
Back Pain
Report
Back pain is a very common problem. There are many different causes of back pain, and sometimes, there is no cause at all. Here at Western Rockies Interventional Pain Specialists, we focus on treating back pain based on a combination of symptoms and diagnostic imaging results. Dr. Lewis and Dr. Christopherson use diagnostic imaging for reference, however; they base most of their clinical decision making on the patient's description of the pain.
Hip Pain
Report
Hip pain is more common in seniors, but can affect anyone. It can occur for many reasons, from being overweight to having a medical condition or injury. Chronic hip pain can be debilitating, leading to a lower quality of life. Our pain management doctors at Western Rockies Interventional Pain Specialists can help!
Spinal Cord Stimulation/Neuromodulation
Report
Spinal cord stimulators are implanted to treat a localized area of pain by treating specific pain fibers within the spinal cord. The stimulator interrupts the pain signals before they reach the brain and are perceived as pain. Some examples of conditions typically treated with spinal cord stimulation include, but are not limited to: phantom limb pain, failed-back surgery syndrome, and complex regional pain syndrome.
