Behavioral Issues

Behavioral issues are more common in certain disorders, such as oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), conduct disorder (CD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Adults who are diagnosed with (ADHD) can also experience behavioral issues. Behavioral issues include, but are not limited to, difficulty handling emotions, having temper tantrums, and being easily angered.

Dr. Hirsch earned his medical degree at the University of Miami Leonard Miller School of Medicine. He then completed a four-year residency in psychiatry with Harvard Medical School.

I completed my family nurse practitioner training at the University of North Florida in 2012. Then I subsequently started working in local primary care practice. Engaging patients with chronic mental illness became my primary focus as an outpatient provider. This experience led me to attend the University of Florida to obtain formal psychiatric training.
