Admiral Farragut Academy accepts local day students entering Kindergarten-12th grade and international boarding students entering 8th-12th grade or their postgraduate year. To all of its students, the Academy provides a globally diverse student experience, comprehensive academic structure, and strong character and leadership development.

Admiral Farragut Academy is a private, college-prep, coeducational, boarding and day school that serves students in Kindergarten - 12th grade. The school has a beautiful 40-acre campus with a private waterfront and is located in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. As you learn more about Farragut you might expect-and you would be right-that as a private school, we have small classrooms, a committed, caring faculty, and a superior curriculum.

Admiral Farragut Academy's history dates back to its founding year in 1933. We are proudly named after Admiral David Glasgow Farragut, the first U.S. Naval officer to rise to that rank. The original Admiral Farragut Academy campus was located on the banks of the Toms River in Pine Beach, New Jersey.

Our school calendars include events for Athletics, Schoolwide, Upper School and Boarding Life, and Lower School. Please note if there are changes to the calendar they will not automatically update on your personal calendar. You will want to check back from time to time to verify the schedule has not changed.
Campus Store
Report
All of our students are required to wear a uniform. Lower School students wear simple private school uniforms and Upper School students additionally wear naval science uniforms. For questions please contact our Campus Store Manager at campusstore@farragut.org or call 727-384-0921. Uniforms and spirit gear is sold in The Anchor Campus Store which is located on the east side of Farragut Hall.
