Our staff is following the recommended CDC guidelines- safe distances & sanitizer available for use. All staff are wearing gloves, face masks and the shop is wiped down with disinfectant frequently each day. Since 1999 Wheel Nuts Bike shop has been dedicated to providing essential service, gear, parts and accessories for any style of riding and cycling related sports.

Our services staff are professionally trained and certified to work on all bicycle makes and models, not just the ones we sell. Each year we send our technicians to training sessions by Shimano, SRAM, RockShok to name a few and other manufacturers to keep up with the latest equipment. Each bike is cared for like it belongs to a family member or loved one.

Wheel Nuts offers road bikes, hybrids, kid bikes and tot trailers for the whole family to enjoy. Our hybrids are by far the most popular bike to explore the region's trails. They are upright comfort oriented bicycles with plush saddles, have 21 gears to manage any terrain and 700c wheels for efficient rolling.

Very scenic trail that runs along the Potomac River to George Washington's estate at Mount Vernon. Recommended ride for visitors. Chesapeake & Ohio Towpath: 184 Miles - Natural Surface One of the nicest trails in the area, it runs from Washington DC all the way to Cumberland, MD. Watch for future extension to Pittsburgh, PA!
