U.S. Truck Driver Training School is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education and is the only nationally accredited truck driver training school in the state of Michigan. Founded in 1994 and located in Sterling Heights, MI, the institution provides a full range of services including CDL training, job placement assistance, and financial aid.
Admissions
Report
Applicants must have a valid Michigan driver's license, be eligible through the state of Michigan for a Class A CDL upgrade, and be at least 18 years old. During an interview with an admissions representative, an applicant under these circumstances will hear the employee recommend obtaining a "pre-hire".
Admissions Policy

All applicants must complete an admissions application upon arrival at USTDTS. Once the application has been completed in full and returned to an admissions representative, the applicant will be interviewed and qualified. In the duration of the application process, the front desk officer will take a copy of the applicant's driver's license to attach to their application.
