Johnson's Martial Arts

Bryson and Melissa Johnson have been training in the martial arts for over 20 years. They began classes as children in Augusta, Georgia. As teenagers, you could often find Bryson and Melissa at the academy training or teaching TaeKwonDo to the other students- something that they were both very passionate about.

At Johnson's Martial Arts in Cary, Apex and Morrisville, expect there to be one or more experienced teachers on the floor in your child's class along with other assistants. Expect the instructor, whether gently guiding everyone along or cranking up the troops, to wear a smile (a happy one!). The Junior (6-12 year old) class is 50 minutes long.

At our martial arts academy, expect there to be one or more experienced teachers on the floor to motivate and help you to learn proper physical technique. Expect the teacher to, at times, require a bit more from you, to give what we call your "Level 10" best. Expect the instructor to wear an encouraging smile.

Our adult class is a wonderfully complete training program, as it includes stretching, strength training, aerobic exercise, and requires a kind of mental focus akin to deep meditation. If you're thinking about taking classes, allow me to be the first to invite you to our school. We've been training adults in Cary since 2006!

We hope that you find our TaeKwonDo Schedule very convenient. We offer classes 6 days per week, and classes are grouped by age and belt level. All students can attend classes at any of our schools according to their schedule. Find a good time and day that works for you, and you can schedule your trial.
