Still Waters Equestrian Academy is a non profit organization whose mission is to share God's gift of horses by welcoming anyone interested in all that horses can offer regardless of age, ability or income. Who We Are

We feel God has used this place and our horses to restore our souls after the sudden loss of our 23 year old son, just four months prior to our move to Nebraska. We want to share this restoration with others. Whether you are looking for alesson program for yourself or your child or exploring our education program in a Summer Day Camp, we welcome you to explore the different ways you can enjoy God's gift of horses.
Our History
Report
The Coles, Arnie, Char and daughter Laura, found a home on twenty acres with a six stall barn and outbuildings that had never been completed. They selected this ranch site just north of Hickman, Nebraska to house their three horses when they relocated from California. Since then, the barn and property has evolved and grown along with the Coles' purpose for the property.

Still Waters Equestrian Academy is looking forward to our 2021 Summer Camps. Please contact us if we can provide any information before that time! Camps are targeted towards youth ages 5- 12 with a half day camp for younger riders and a full day camp for riders 8 and older. We also offer a special Mother-Daughter camp experience.

Instruction is open to riders of all ability levels in both western and english disciplines. We provide experienced school horses, riding equipment, and professional instructors.
Morning Star Riding Center
Report
The average therapeutic riding session is thirty minutes and consists of grooming, leading, tacking, and riding. Unlike other programs that do large group sessions, our therapeutic riding lessons are done on an individual basis to assure the client gets the most benefit from their session. Doing it this way does cost more per hour but we find the benefits to much outweigh the costs.
