For 70 years, Saratoga Parent Nursery School has provided families with a nurturing and memorable preschool experience. Our preschool is a community-focused experience, providing parents and children with the opportunity to learn and grow in a loving environment. We serve families from all over the Bay Area, including Saratoga, Los Gatos, Cupertino, Los Altos, Mountain View, Sunnyvale and San Jose.
By working closely with our teachers, parents enhance their understanding of child development and to influence it constructively. They become knowledgeable about their own child by observing and interacting with other children and parents in the classroom, while receiving guidance and insight from our teachers.

Since 1947, Saratoga Parent Nursery School, has provided children and their families with a nurturing and memorable preschool experiences. Initially opened as a babysitting co-op, the school evolved into a parent participation nursery school incorporating in 1957. The preschool and yard were completely rebuilt in 2000-2001.

Saratoga Parent Nursery School provides a wondrous, joyful experience in a custom-built child-centered facility where young children learn through play and discovery and where parents are guided by child development professionals. Our preschool is a place for parents to nurture and observe the development of their children in a like-minded, diverse community of growing and mutually supportive families.

The Saratoga Parent Nursery School community is built on the partnership between parents, teachers and children. Studies show that parents who are engaged in their child's early schooling lay a strong foundation for their child's future education. Our mission is to provide the resources and support for families as they navigate this parenting journey.
Our Teachers

Ashlee comes to Saratoga Parent Nursery School with an extensive background working with children and families. She spent several years working as a psychotherapist providing child and family therapy. Ashlee also has experience teaching parent participation preschool. Her love and passion for play-based early education comes from spending several years at SPNS with her two sons.

We are happy to announce that after hard work from a wonderful group of parent alumni and Co-Directors Alexis and Prudence, this year we have created a new parent and alumni lead board of directors to help support our school, students, directors and teachers. We are looking forward to an amazing year.
