Norma, the daycare owner and director, earned her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on Curriculum from CSU East Bay. We participate in the CocoKids Child Care Food Program, which is geared towards children eating well and getting active. Our backyard inspires active playtime with friends, and allows us to garden and provide sensory play (such as a water table and sand box) with the children.
Cooking, gardening, arts and crafts, and music class are just a few of the ways that we help build essential skills for your children's future success. We are outside for most of each day (weather-permitting) and believe in the power of learning through nature. Our daycare is no-screentime (with the exception of pre-planned pajama days).

At Norma's Kiddie Preschool, we believe in helping every child succeed by celebrating who they are and teaching them to appreciate how individual differences make our communities stronger. We provide a library to families that helps to "de-center" identities and stories that have traditionally been seen as "normal" or standard.
