I am a Yale-trained, board certified pediatrician and have been in practice since 1997. After receiving my M.D. from New York Medical College, I completed my residency in pediatrics at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. Following Yale days, I spent eight years in private practice in suburban New York.
In 2005, I joined the medical community of Danbury. During my career, I have also enjoyed being a guest speaker at parenting groups, having spots on national radio, and appearing on "The Today Show" to discuss health, the healthcare industry, and international adoption. RTR Pediatrics originally opened its doors in 2012 on West Street to provide affordable care for children who lacked health insurance.

Consultations & second opinions: Sometimes you just need a second opinion or consultation on something. Obtaining either should not be difficult or daunting, but sometimes it is because you just don't know where to start. We make it easy. This service is available to all regardless of whether you've been at our office or not.

Dr. Paulhus completely believes in the safety and efficacy of vaccines to keep children healthy. We carry all vaccines, and adhere to the recommended schedule of their administration by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

If your health insurance company is not listed, check with your insurer to see if you have an OUT-OF-NETWORK benefit that allows you to use our services. All are welcome to use our services, even if uninsured.
Hours and location

HOURS: We generally open at 9:30 AM. Our closing times vary. Our goal is to have office hours that meet the needs of our patients, as well as for our team. Sometimes, we have Saturday hours, but they are very, very infrequent. We are closed on Wednesdays all year 'round. LOCATION: We are in Germantown Plaza between Augie's Pizza and Cat Clinic, just under a mile from Danbury Hospital.
