The Women's Physician Group (WPG) was founded in 1984 by Dr. Belvia Carter as a solo practice. Under her leadership, WPG has expanded to include five full time physicians and two nurse practitioners. WPG is a premier provider of women's healthcare in the midsouth. Our team of physicians are Board Certified or Board Eligible and practice both Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Mammography
Report
A mammogram, helps in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases in women. The mammography exam is specialized medical imaging that uses a low-dose x-ray system to see inside the breasts. The American Cancer Society recommends that every woman have her baseline (initial) mammogram at age 35, and begin having annual screening mammograms at age 40.

WPG is excited to offer 3D/4D ultrasound technology as a great bonding experience for you and your baby. The 3D/4D technology allows you and your loved ones to take a sneak peak at your newest addition prior to his/her arrival. This technology is offered in our office and performed by a registered sonographer.
