Stroke Recovery

Online Speech Therapy is available for recovery from Stroke or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Once we know those factors, then we work as a team to choose goals and develop a plan to help. Traditional speech therapy is usually covered by Medicare part B. Out of network coverage may be available at affordable private pay rates - $90 / session.

Overall, family should be able to understand your child by age 3. Strangers should be able to understand your child by age 4. Your child should have all their key speech sounds, including R, L and S before they turn 6. Keep a Log. For 1 week, write down the words you notice that your child says that aren't clear or have the wrong sounds.
