Gingival Contour Sculpting
Report
Gum recession is a condition in which your gums pull away from the tooth surface, exposing the root surfaces of your teeth. When gums recede, they sometimes look thin and worn away. The exposed roots of your teeth may be more sensitive to cold, sweets, brushing, or getting your teeth cleaning when you have gum recession.
Frenectomy
Report
A frenulum is a small muscle that attaches your lips to gums. The band of tissue around it is called a frenum. When those tissues are overly thick, wide, short, or even too long, it may cause excessive pulling and problems such as creating space between your two front teeth or causing gum recession.
