The Buck Horn began operations in 2004 by the current owner, David Galus. David got his start in the industry transporting senior citizens to medical appointments. He also drove a cab at night for extra money. At that time, Durango Transportation was the only taxi company in town. The Colorado Public Utilities Commission only allows one taxi permit for a town the size of Durango.

Formal service is billed by the hour. It is for passengers needing a car to wait for them. Formal service can meet a variety of needs such as waiting for a business meeting to adjourn, or a private plane to land, or a doctor's appointment to conclude. Our Basic services and Luxury services are very different.

Buck Horn offers the lowest airport shuttle rates between Durango and the Durango La Plata County Airport. We are extremely busy. Our Mercedes-Benz GL450 SUVs seat 6 passengers. This SUV has AWD and can get you and your party anywhere in our service area in most any conditions. Our black Ford Transit vans are great for larger groups. They can comfortably fit up to 14 passengers. We pride ourselves in the quality of our limo service being as polished as the finish of our coaches.

Buck Horn Limousine offers the only Airport Limousine Sedan Service in the Four Corners region of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. Executive Transportation services bill by the hour. We operate AWD Mercedes-Benz luxury sedans, Mercedes-Benz 7 passenger van, AWD Ford Transit 14 passenger vans, and AWD Mercedes-Benz GL450 SUV.
