Dr. Olive is a graduate of Auburn University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree, and Southern College of Optometry where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Olive has been practicing in Auburn since 2000. He and April have been married for 22 years, residing and raising their children in Auburn.

Moore's Mill Eyecare opened its doors for business in early 2015. While it is relatively new to the area, Dr. Olive has been residing in the Moore's Mill area for close to 15 years and has been serving patients in the Auburn, Opelika, Lee County area for 20 years. As he lived in and raised his children in the Moore's Mill area, a desire to one day open a practice that would serve the community grew.

We utilize state of the art equipment, including the Optos Retinal Imaging System and the Nidek OPD Scan III to quickly provide the most accurate information about your ocular health, and to assess your vision needs. Diabetic eye exams for our diabetic patients, monitoring of cataract progression, glaucoma, and macular degeneration are just some of the medical examination services we also offer.

If you are a new patient, please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time, to fill out our brief, yet necessary, paperwork.

Vision For Hope is the serving, philanthropic initiative of Moore's Mill Eyecare. Dr. Olive dreamed that his practice would be a means to serve the local community and global community. Vision For Hope began when Moore's Mill Eyecare opened for business in early 2015.

Since its inception, Vision For Hope has conducted two free vision clinics in Uganda, serving close to 800 patients in the communities of Bwerenga, Buloba, and Kampala, as well as orphaned and imprisoned children housed in the country's child prisons.These clinics provided free eyecare, vision screenings and glasses to individuals who would never have an opportunity to see an eye doctor or have an exam and services in their lifetime otherwise.
