Bowler Swim School
Bowler Swim School was born out of a desire to have fun and nothing has changed. While looking for a summer job that didn't extract the carefree nature of summer break, Kelsie Bowler decided to start teaching swimming lessons in her family's backyard pool, sharing something that has brought her so much fun.

Seeing the flaws in other programs she was teaching, Kelsie designed Bowler Swim School's curriculum to focus on getting children to swim independently so that they can be safe in the water and freed to enjoy days at the pool, lake, or ocean. Bowler Swim School's instructors are all recruited, and receive extensive training, making them as qualified as possible as instructors.

Report
We recognize that everybody is at a different place with their swimming knowledge and that everybody learns differently. That is why we have set up our program to accommodate to those different needs. We keep our lessons to a maximum teacher to student ratio of one to two, offering private and semi-private lessons frequently having an aide with the instructor at times.
Instructors
Report
Bowler Swim School proudly boasts a group of highly qualified and passionate instructors. Kelsie is 27 years old and has been teaching swim lessons for 10 years. She swam competitively starting in the 4th grade and continued through all of high school.

She attended Brigham Young University where she took courses such as Teaching Competitive Swimming where she was able to increase her knowledge as an instructor while working towards her bachelors degree in Art History and Curatorial Studies.
Facility
Report
Bowler Swim School operates out of a backyard pool in Draper. The pool is kept at 90 degrees to keep our little swimmers warm and and chemicals are checked consistently to maintain a safe place for all our swimmers. The rest of the backyard is open for all to play, so you don't have to wrestle to entertain children while they are not in the pool.

We welcome students of all ages and abilities to come swim with us. Swimming is a lifelong skill that we want everyone to benefit from. Our flexible curriculum enables us to adapt our teachings to our students' level and age, providing them with the best instruction for them as an individual. Private lessons are one student per instructor and semi-private lessons have two students per instructor.
