About Maggie
Report
Maggie started Metro East Therapy in 2016. Her dream was to create a space for families to access not only resources for their child, but a place for parents to feel heard and understood. Therapy is a journey. For some families, their journey is short. For others, their journey may take longer, sometimes years.
Occupational Therapy
Report
Often during development, children struggle with various day to day activities and tasks that require the guidance and support of an occupational therapist. At Metro East Therapy, our occupational therapist can help your child learn skills to help them be more successful in their environment. Children that struggle with sensory processing are often overwhelmed by their environment.
Speech & Language Evaluations
Report
If your child struggles to understand oral language such as certain vocabulary, following directions, organizing what they have heard or deciphering implied or explicit information in situations. You may have difficulty understanding what they are trying to explain due to a limited vocabulary or using the same phrases over and over.
