We are only 22 miles to the gateway of Glacier National Park, 2 miles to the West is the Whitefish River, 3 miles to the East is Flathead River and 5 miles North West is Whitefish Lake.
Flathead Lake is 30 miles South and is the largest natural fresh water lake West of the Mississippi with over 200 square miles of water and 185 miles of shoreline. Mountain View RV Park has 45 full-service sites, with 28 of them being pull through sites that can easily accommodate big rigs. The pull-through sites include options for 50, 30 and 15 AMP service and full water and sewer hookups. Additionally there are 18 back in sites offering 30 and 20 AMP service along with full hook-ups.

Columbia Falls is only about 5 minutes down the road from the RV Park. Columbia Falls has become affectionately nicknamed "The Gateway to Glacier Park." Being the last of the larger communities that you pass through before exiting the Flathead valley and entering Bad Rock Canyon on your way to Glacier National Park, Columbia Falls lives up to it's nickname quite well.

The Trail of the Cedars is probably one of the most popular and well-traveled short hikes inside Glacier National Park. This mostly level trail consists of a boardwalk and blacktop trail that is handicapped accessible. The trail takes hikers through a spectacular forest of giant cedar trees, spruce and other species of pine and deciduous trees.
