About Teeth
Report
Throughout your life, you will have two sets of teeth: primary (baby) teeth and secondary (permanent) teeth. At age 6-8 months, the primary teeth appear; all 20 are usually in place by age 3. Permanent teeth will begin to grow around age 6, and except for wisdom teeth, are all present between ages 12 and 14.
Emergency Info
Report
Ice can be applied to any bruised areas. For bleeding, apply firm (but gentle) pressure with sterile gauze or a clean cloth. If the bleeding does not stop with pressure or continues after 15 minutes, go to an emergency room. Remove a broken appliance only if it comes out easily. If it is lodged or painful to remove, cover any protruding edges with wax, cotton balls, gauze or chewing gum.
Faq
Report
A. The American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines recommend visiting a dentist at least twice a year for a checkup and professional cleaning. Our office also recommends a minimum of two visits per year. A. One of our staff members will compile your medical and dental history during your first visit.
Snoring Therapy
Report
Loud snorers may have a more serious case of blocked air passages, known as obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS). In these cases, the blockage of air is so great that no air can get through, causing repeated awakenings throughout the night.

Obstructive sleep apnea can contribute or lead to many other conditions, such as high blood pressure, stroke, heart attack and depression, so it is important to be diagnosed by a medical professional if you experience any sleep-related symptoms.
Endodontics
Report
The innermost portion of each tooth is comprised of connective tissue, blood vessels and nerves. This collection of tissues is called the "pulp." If the pulp dies or becomes infected, the diseased tissue must be removed. If the patient desires to retain the tooth, endodontic therapy needs to be performed.
