Phosphating or phosphate conversion is a manufacturing process in which an acidic bath solution reacts with the metal part or weldment and combines with or causes a chemical conversion that transforms the surface of the metal part into a protective layer, which is uniform and inert to the environment.

Our team was called out to sandblast and apply a liquid coat to existing metal pipes and beams at Bruce Randolph School. Prior to sandblasting we masked and taped the designated areas to prevent overspray and structural damage to the building. We then removed the existing paint and rust by on-site sandblasting.
