More About Us
Report
As it was back in the 1960's, the reasons to purchase your fasteners at Fastco are still the same.

A huge inventory based on the needs of our customers (one of the largest in the northwest), extremely experienced staff (with the average years of fastener experience over 30 years per employee), a shop capable of manufacturing anchors and rods to meet the most current specifications and a full understanding of what products and services our customers need to be successful creates a very simple recipe of unmatched inventory, people and service -- yesterday, today and for many years to come.
Ed, along with our co-founder Don Joyner started Fastco in 1963. As former employees of Star Iron and Steel, a steel fabricator/crane manufacturer, they saw a need in Tacoma for a quality fastener house that really understood the needs of their customers. Ed has a saying "smart people buy from us" because our best customers understand the value of what we do!
Lonny
Report
Lonny is a part owner of Fastco and manages the day to day operations. He has been on the team since 1981 and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure our customers and employees are taken care of! When not wearing one of his Fastco hats, he enjoys golf, basketball, salmon fishing and being a member of his Vespa gang, which tours the Pacific Northwest every summer in search of the perfect dive bar!
Jim
Report
Jim began his employment at Fastco in 1968, fresh out of the United States Air Force. Nixon was just elected President, a Big Mac was 49 cents and Jim had a full head of hair (sorry Jim). Jim has always been able and willing to do anything at Fastco that needs to be done. From running our warehouse, maintaining our trucks, or fixing our computers, Jim will always find a way to get it done!
Rick
Report
Rick is one of our key inside people. He takes phone orders, does purchasing and leads our material certification program, which is a vital part of our structural fastener business. Rick served as an outside guy at Fastco from 2001 to 2008, so he knows our customers and our operation from all sides.
