Adaptive Riding
Adaptive Riding programs use horse partnerships to improve physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities. Designed for individuals with special needs, our PATH-certified instructors create personalized sessions that build confidence and motor skills through structured equine interaction. This service promotes independence and emotional resilience.
Horse Sponsorship
Horse Sponsorship allows donors to directly fund the $6,000 annual care cost per horse. Contributions cover veterinary care, feed, and facility maintenance for our 12-therapeutic equines. This program ensures our horses receive optimal care while maintaining their critical role in healing participants through consistent, healthy partnerships.
Volunteer Training
Volunteer Training programs educate participants on therapeutic horsemanship assistance. Volunteers aged 14+ learn safety protocols, horse handling, and participant guidance techniques. This service sustains our operations through trained community members who directly impact program delivery and horse care.

I stopped by unannounced with enquiries about their facility. Everyone I spoke to welcomed my visit and answered all my questions. The stables are so clean and well-maintained! The horses looked healthy and happy. Even "Lucy" the dog was gentle and friendly! Again, they weren't expecting me at all. So, "BRAVO", Freedom Farm!

Amazing results from horse riding therapy for kids with special needs. Kids literally start walking on there own after several months of riding. Good for both physical and mental development. Execent stuff and volunteers, who really care about your child and help them to overcome developmental difficulties. The best place for theraputic riding in Minnesota and one of the best in US. Very thankful!
