South Texas Growers was established in 1992 by Mike and Joanne Hall in Elemendorf, Texas. In 2009, the Elemendorf location was sold allowing all efforts to be concentrated on the Bulverde location which was acquired in 2002. With over 40 years experience in the nursery and landscaping field, our business methods have developed and grown to ensure customers receive quality products and services.
We continue to seek out new and innovative techniques to guarantee our core values are recognized. Mike and Joanne are incredible people and very good at what they do! We've had quite a bit of landscaping work done by them over the years and we've been more than impressed and satisfied! Their nursery grounds are stunning and many times I just go there to walk around and enjoy the beauty!

The nursery in Bulverde features 3 acres of outdoor trees and plants. A wide variety of perennials, shrubs, succulents, trees and much more are available to enhance your landscape. Many of your favorite Texas native and adaptive plants are home-grown at the nursery in Bulverde. These plants promise to thrive in your garden as they are acclimated to our weather extremes, as well as our alkaline soil and hard water.
