Coastal focuses on three core services: Occupational, Physical, and Speech-Language Therapy, for children from infancy through adolescence. We have two centrally located clinics as well as at-home and telehealth offerings to allow getting your child to therapy to be as convenient as possible. Our two clinic locations provide comprehensive gym facilities making your child's therapy engaging and fun.
Our therapists can also meet at your home or at your child's school or daycare. Telehealth services are an option when in-person sessions are not feasible.

Meet Our Team
Report
Founded in 2001 by Ron Thayer, MS, CCC-SLP, our team-driven agency provides a variety of therapeutic services including traditional direct evaluation and treatment, group-based therapy, and preschool screenings. Co-treatments involving multiple therapies are also available. We even have programs available that incorporate typically developing peers!
Services
Report
Coastal is proud to offer a myriad of services to ensure that we are addressing the whole child. Our therapists work together to support progress in all areas of development. Ongoing consultation between the therapy team, to include caregivers, physicians, teachers, and paraprofessionals, allows for comprehensive insight, planning, and treatment.
Occupational Therapy
Report
Occupational therapists assist children in being successful with the childhood "occupations" of play, self-care, peer interactions, and school. Occupational therapy addresses these occupations as well as the fundamental skills that influence childrens' ability to achieve success in their daily lives.
Physical Therapy
Report
Physical Therapists help to increase a child's mobility, range of motion, strength, endurance, postural support and balance, so that they are better able to play and move at home, in their schools, and throughout the community. Our physical therapists specialize in the early developmental continuum for children to ensure they are rolling, sitting, crawling, and walking at times that are age appropriate.
Speech Therapy
Report
Speech and Language therapy involves the assessment and treatment of the many components involved in communication and feeding. Speech-Language Pathologists at Coastal are trained to evaluate and treat children with a wide range of communication delays or disorders, including articulation/phonology, expressive (verbal) and receptive (comprehension) language, voice, and fluency.
