Arkansas Community Colleges
Arkansas Community Colleges (ACC) is a non-profit association representing all comprehensive public community and technical colleges in Arkansas. Arkansas Community Colleges (ACC) was established in 1989 as a professional development association through a grassroots effort of faculty to share ideas, resources, and techniques on teaching.

In 1991, the Arkansas General Assembly passed Act 1244, the "Two-Year Postsecondary Education Reorganization Act, " to establish a statewide system of institutions offering industry training and university transfer programs. In 1996, Presidents/Chancellors formalized ACC as a non-profit association in order to expand opportunities for networking, collaboration, and advocacy.
