Class Structure & Progression
Report
Mandarin Kung Fu holds classes six days a week. The first hour of each class stresses horse stances and animal postures. Basic blocking, striking, and kicking techniques, as well as breathing and hand strengthening exercises, are also studied during this period. This type of training is emphasized, because it forms the foundation of our art.

Sifu, I would like you to know that I am having such an amazing journey and am getting so much out of being a part of your Mandarin Kung Fu Society. I am so proud that since I started training in the martial arts with you back in June of 2008 I have managed to lose an amazing 45 pounds! I feel more confident in myself, am happier and healthier than I have been in a very long time!
Class Schedule
Report
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are rudimental basic training days. Wednesday emphasizes intermediate basics and we concentrate on weapon forms and contact training. Friday is geared towards advanced students. We practice the complete set of the school's forms as well as contact drills. Saturday is a basic training class & an open workout for all sashes & ages.
Sashes & Promotions
Report
All students begin their training at Mandarin Kung Fu as white sashes. A student never needs to compete for a promotion to further his knowledge. He receives new material as he progresses in his art. We do not have rank qualifications for our forms (katas) or drills. Therefore, a student who doesn't compete for promotions will not be held back from learning a form beyond his rank.
