I purchased a set of rosewood nesting tables online from Julian, the shipper or the packer damaged two of the tables, after seeing a photo of the package, and damage - Julian took them back no problem. He also discounted a replacement table for my trouble. I live in Tahoe and drove down to Berkeley to return the tables and pick up a replacement (even more beautiful piece). His warehouse is amazing. I had to leave asap, for fear I would bankrupt my family. I'd definitely shop there again to the detriment of my children's educations.

I purchased a Gubi chair from Julian and (1) I adore it, (2) he was so patient and helpful as I was browsing in his store. Julian has a great eye for design and a palpable passion for the midcentury era of interiors and architecture. He applies zero pressure to purchase anything, but instead politely shares his knowledge with you so you can make an informed purchase at your own pace. I look forward to shopping with Julian and Mid Century Mobler in the future!
