At the Evergreens you can enjoy the true spirit of camping without the hassles of towing a trailer or pitching a tent. We have 5 comfortable appointed sparkling clean cabins located just a few yards from the banks of the Kennebec River. Cabins are tucked under tall pine and oak trees, and are spaced for privacy.

Many of their artifacts and fireplaces have been found here, and the Maine State Museum has conducted archaeological digs on these grounds. Ledge rocks on the opposite shore have Native American carvings (also called petroglyphs) said to be the best east of the Mississippi.
