About Us
Report
Sienna Ranch offers a cornucopia of programming, geared primarily toward participants ages 4-14. From September through early June, we run four quarters of classes to supplement the school weeks of homeschooling and traditional students. Choose a program of interest and join us once per week. Classes run in eight week blocks called sessions.
Our Story
Report
Our story begins in 2008 when a local homeschool family began organizing a group of kids to get together and explore the hills and gullies of the Ranch and Briones, with a few enthusiastic naturalists as their mentors. This was the birth of our Explorers program. Horses and Archery soon followed as passionate staff and youth were drawn to this special place.
Facility
Report
Sienna Ranch is a privately owned 21-acre ranch in Lafayette, CA near the intersection of Hwy 680 and 24. We are centrally located, 2 minutes from the freeway, and just fifteen minutes from Oakland, Berkeley and San Ramon. We are a family run business whose focus is on youth, families, environment, and community.
Grow-to-Give Orchard
Report
On a warm spring day in March of 2015, the vision of the "Grow to Give" Orchard came to fruition as ILM Tree students, Sienna Ranch families and community volunteers planted 100 fruit trees, mostly late varietal apples and pears on the eastern hillside under the leadership of the Urban Farmers non-profit.
Rain or Shine
Report
Sienna Ranch empowers participants to be respectful (to their bodies, each other, staff, nature.) Self-care is a skill we value, and Sienna Ranch appreciates the collaborative effort parents and guardians take toward sending students and campers to the ranch ready to have a safe and exciting day.

We do our best to experience nature in all its rainy, sunny, windy glory and participants tend to be the most comfortable and happy when they have the right tools for the job (for staying dry, warm, cool, shaded, etc.)Please take a moment to read some ideas about how your student or camper might thrive best at Sienna Ranch whether the forecast is rain or shine.
