Nancy Poitou

With over three decades of experience in mental health therapy, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate spiritual crises, trauma, and existential challenges. My practice integrates traditional therapeutic techniques with specialized expertise in spiritually transformative experiences, including kundalini awakening and paranormal phenomena. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2000 and a Certified Trauma Specialist since 2002, I have worked extensively with clients facing complex psychological and spiritual dilemmas. My academic background includes a Master's degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from Pacific Oaks College, complemented by advanced training in natural theology and clairvoyance.

I have taught metaphysics at Mt. San Antonio College and facilitated meditation groups for over 14 years, while also serving as a hospice volunteer and trainer. My upcoming book, 'You May Think I'm Crazy But...', addresses the growing prevalence of exceptional spiritual experiences and their psychological implications. This work builds on my extensive research and clinical practice, which includes counseling members of the Spiritual Emergence Network and consulting with colleagues on anomalous experiences. My approach emphasizes the integration of spiritual insights with evidence-based therapeutic practices, prioritizing client safety and ethical standards throughout my career.
