The best way to find out if a place is true to their craft is ask for something not on the board and see how Customer friendly they are. Hands down this is the place for coffee and great customer service. Rebecca treated me like we had know each other for years. When I asked if she new what a breve was she almost chuckled like how could I not. Great drinks great service great people. Shop small

Awesome service with a real smile, Awesome coffee,
Yummy egg sandwiches fast.
Gotta love the deviled eggs. I must also disagree with another review stating the coffee was overoasted. I did not buy bag so I did not try their light roasts but i did get a latte and it was perfect, top notch flavor with notes of butterscotch.
Spoiled urbanites need to remember context and perspective . This place is a gem it is a real cafe experience, that you can not get from some mediocre coffee shop chain. That overroasts all there cofee including their esspesso.....or a chain that sells you cheap robusta beans

I absolutely LOVE their iced chai with their coffee cubes, along with their muffins. You cant go there and not get at least a muffin. They make an amazing gluten free muffin that is to die for, as well as a regular Cranberry walnut muffin that is out of this world especially when its grilled! I love their lunch menu, their food always tastes so good and it cooked to perfection. I highly recommend them as a go to place when in the White Mountains.

Nice cozy vibe, disappointing drinks. I ordered two iced mochas, expecting iced lattes with chocolate. They gave me two cups containing ice and chocolate syrup and invited me to fill them with iced coffee from a dispenser. Next time I'll try my luck with a hot drink. The food looked good.

Always love stopping in here for a great coffee after a long day of hiking. The coffee is always fantastic, and love that they use frozen coffee cubes instead of ice cubes in their coffee! Staff is always warm and welcoming and we always look forward to Mad River. We havent tried any of the food but it looks delicious!
