During psychopharmacology visits, I will monitor the efficacy of medications the individual is currently placed on, inquire about potential side effects, and at times use genetic testing in individuals who have experienced multiple medication failures. I offer thorough education on any medication prescribed.

Thompson DNP, AGNP-C, PMHNP-BC, TBHP is a nurse practitioner who received her training at The University of Michigan-Flint.

Susan earned her Masters of Counseling from Oakland University to fulfill her passion of helping others in a personal setting. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and Development and a Masters of Teaching. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan and a Nationally Certified Counselor.

Dr. Thompson's office is located Downtown Detroit Michigan. She sees all her clients online, therefore she can see anyone who lives in the State of Michigan. Dr. Thompson does accept some insurance policies in her private practice. However, not all insurances cover telehealth, telepsychiatry or video conferencing services delivered by a Nurse Practitioner.
