In 2013 Clair & Rhoda Stauffer and their family moved Close to Wayne City IL. Leaving behind a country store at their previous location just west of St Peter IL. In 2014 Rhoda along with her family had the opportunity to purchase Greenfield Country Store of Wayne City and has been striving for an Old Fashioned Country Store.
Greenfield originally started as a Salvage/Discount grocery store. While we still continue a small line of discounted/close dated groceries, Our specialty is adding many spices, bulk foods and those hard to find gluten free products and other special cooking ingredients. We offer delicious baked goods and meals created on site in our certified kitchen.
