Vigraha Gallery
The Vigraha Gallery collection constellates around images of Hindu and Buddhist origins. In the mix of the collection of Vigrahas are a variety of secular and tribal artifacts originating in India, the Himalayas and Southeast Asia. Vigraha is a Sanskrit word signifying, in brief, "a sacred image". The word pertains to the divine represented in a manifest form.

There is a large body of scripture, including, for example, the Vastustra Upaniad, which governs the essence of form in sacred art. While it was open many pieces from our collection were displayed in a setting which emphasized beauty and elegance. Vigraha is now operating an online gallery with appointments to view a wider selection of the collection.
