Fairfield Fierce is a leading youth basketball organization that develops athletes - both on and off the court. The Fierce Approach is built upon focusing each individual player to approach the game with the mindset of what is best for the team. We believe that each player in our program is best served by this commitment to teamwork.
The Fierce travel basketball program offers teams for boys in the 2nd through 12th grades and is based in Fairfield County, CT. Our players have come from all over Southern Connecticut, including: Fairfield, Bridgeport, Stratford, Trumbull, Easton, Weston, Wilton, Ridgefield, Westport, Norwalk, New Canaan, Darien, Shelton, Monroe, Milford, Naugatuck, Prospect, Orange, New Haven, Hamden, Ansonia and Woodbridge.

For a basketball team to be successful, ALL of its players must have good attendance and be on time. These are the basics to building any successful team. We understand there will be rare conflicts, but by and large the expectation is that you view the Fierce as a priority. There are times to be laid back and have fun, but there is no chance at building team chemistry without a full commitment from each player to all team events.
Winter Basketball

For the 2021-22 winter season - the Fierce is offering weekly skills clinics and scrimmage game play for players of all ages. The season runs from mid-November through early March. Our families say that the biggest difference between us and other Fairfield travel programs is the practice organization.
Coaches

The Fierce was founded in January of 2016 by Scott Lipow, after he had coached various AAU clubs and travel programs throughout Connecticut. Scott was the head coach for the 2017-18 Fairfield Fierce 8th grade travel team that captured the Fairfield County Basketball League (FCBL) "AA" Championship, ranking that team above over 70 other travel teams throughout the state.
