Specialized Speech Therapy for Swallowing & Neurological Disorders
Established in 2014, Swallowing & Neurological Rehabilitation (SNR) has become the premier adult diagnostic and speech therapy center in northeastern Oklahoma. Our specialized focus on swallowing, voice, and neurological conditions is led by owner and clinical director Tiffany Turner, a board-certified specialist in swallowing disorders through the American Board of Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders. Our evidence-based approach combines advanced diagnostics like fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) and videostroboscopy with personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. We offer comprehensive rehabilitation programs for dysphagia, voice pathologies, and cognitive-linguistic impairments resulting from strokes, brain injuries, and progressive neurological diseases.

Our team collaborates closely with local otolaryngologists to ensure coordinated care and utilizes cutting-edge technology for accurate assessments. With expertise in neuromuscular electrical stimulation, myofascial release, and lymphedema management, we address both acute and chronic conditions. Our services extend to alternative communication solutions for patients with ALS and other progressive diseases, including voice banking and speech-generating device implementation. Services
Swallow Studies
Our fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES) procedures use advanced endoscopy to analyze swallowing physiology. Highly skilled clinicians perform these assessments to identify impairments and develop individualized treatment plans. This diagnostic tool helps improve patient outcomes through targeted interventions for dysphagia.
Videostroboscopy
We utilize high-definition videostroboscopy to evaluate vocal fold function using strobe light technology. This allows slow-motion visualization of vocal cord movement during speech and singing. Our speech pathologists collaborate with ENT specialists to diagnose and treat voice disorders like nodules and vocal cord dysfunction.
Swallow Rehabilitation
Our evidence-based rehabilitation programs address acute and chronic dysphagia through neuromuscular stimulation, myofascial release, and targeted exercises. We develop personalized treatment plans to improve swallowing safety and efficiency while implementing compensatory strategies to enhance quality of life for patients with swallowing disorders.
Voice Therapy
We offer individualized voice treatment programs for vocal pathologies including muscle tension dysphonia and vocal nodules. Our SPEAK OUT! program specifically addresses voice impairments in Parkinson's disease patients. Treatment includes vocal exercises, hygiene education, and home practice regimens to improve vocal function.
Cognitive Rehabilitation
Our cognitive-linguistic therapy addresses memory, attention, and executive function impairments following brain injuries or progressive conditions. We develop customized retraining programs for stroke survivors and dementia patients, focusing on improving functional communication and implementing compensatory strategies for daily living activities.

What a wonderful clinic! All of the staff members are very professional and pleasant. I love the attention to details with patients and family members. They use the latest technology and best practice for each patient. The two Speech and Language Pathologists are very competent in their fields and specialties. They love to educate the patient and not rush through things as seen in most medical clinics. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for you and your loved ones.

I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to complete a clinical internship with Tiffany. At SNR, Tiffany and Stacy provide the highest quality of swallowing and cognitive communication treatment as well as very thorough evaluations! They are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the swallowing process and speech/language disorders. It is very evident that both Tiffany and Stacy, along with Connie at the front desk, care so deeply about each patient that walks through the door! SNR should be the model for every adult speech therapy clinic. It is a one of a kind place with the most dedicated

I will always be grateful for the time Stacy recently spent helping me restore my voice after a difficult surgery intubation. Thanks to her encouragement and her kind, expert attention and guidance, my "preacher's voice" is much stronger than it was before she began working with me. And she educated me well on its proper care.

I purchased a bundle package with the slp starter kit, aphasia pictures, aphasia toolkit, and dysphagia clinician resources. I am so glad I did. Having been a school based therapist since graduating, I was nervous when I took a hospital job. These resources were very helpful. I especially liked the aphasia pictures. I spent less time creating or looking for materials and more time flexing my therapeutic muscles. Thanks SNR

Tiffany is one of the best clinicians in the field and I have seen her make huge progress with many patients. She is well versed in the anatomy, physiology and neurology involved in voice, swallowing, speech and language that gives her an edge on other treating therapists. I have purchased all of her e-books and use them in my own practice almost daily.
