At ELNS, our curriculum includes a variety of group and individual activities focusing on fine and gross motor, social, critical thinking and life skills. These skills are developed through indoor and outdoor playtime, story time, music and movement, art, and chapel activities. Our monthly themes include activities and programs that incorporate health habits, science activities, math concepts and age-appropriate reading readiness activities.
The curriculum in the Pre K classes is designed to prepare students for kindergarten in either public or private schools and includes aspects of the "Handwriting Without Tears" curriculum. Although the Bible is not taught as part of our classroom curriculum, we do teach by Christian example, include Christian holiday themes, and practice Christian habits such as prayer before meals in our classrooms.

Our Programs
Report
The Epiphany Lutheran Nursery School curriculum is diversified, developmentally appropriate, and designed to meet the individual needs of each child. We strive to prepare the children to be successful in an individualized classroom as well as in a structured situation. Each child is encouraged to participate in independent learning activities and to choose activities that will challenge him/her.
Optional Programs
Report
Optional programs are offered in addition to the normal school day and are designed to provide supplemental activities and care each day that we are open. These options are available to ELNS students of all ages and can extend the day as early as 8am and as late as 1:30pm or 3pm. These programs are staffed by our regular teachers and they generally have the same schedule each month.
Enrichment Programs
Report
Throughout the year we offer a number of enrichment programs for students ages 3 and up. Program offerings change seasonally and are designed to let our students try new activities and explore their interests. These programs are offered by both our staff members as well as outside vendors. Some of the things we have offered in the past include soccer, dance, Spanish, yoga, nature programs, and art classes.
Faq
Report
Inclement weather or other emergency circumstances may make it necessary to close school or delay our opening by 1 hour. If we decide to do one of these, we will notify parents via email and social media posts including Facebook and Instagram. You will need to make sure to check one of these avenues on mornings that there is inclement weather.
