Alma Health Skilled Services is a Home Community Based Service Coordination Agency that works with the Pennsylvania Office of Long Term Living to provide service coordination to Pennsylvanians of all ages in all counties. Our goal is to provide our clients with the highest level of service coordination available in order to keep you or your family member living independently in their own home.
We work directly with you to identify, locate, and coordinate all of the possible needs and resources you may need to accomplish this goal. Our Service Coordinators work with you in developing a Service Plan that is tailored to meet your needs. We then work with agencies in the community to ensure your Service Plan is delivered appropriately, while giving you choices along the way.

Deb completed several courses at HACC and worked for MedStaffers as their Director of Home Care for seven years before moving to Alma Health Skilled Services in 2012. When asked what she enjoys about working for Alma Health Skilled Services, she replied, "Everything!" She enjoys the daily changes and challenges that are associated with this line of work.
Skilled Nursing Care and Home Health

Alma Health Skilled Services is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health to provide part-time intermittent care by nurses, home health aides, physical therapists, and social workers. We work with various insurance companies, doctor's offices, and social workers to provide a source for skilled care services for the client to receive in their own home.

We feel strongly that our consumers should be involved in the decisions that affect the quality of their daily living and promote their individual goals to stay independent in the setting of choice as long as feasible. We have service coordinators throughout the state of Pennsylvania that can meet the needs of the consumers in all 67 counties.

Alma Health Skilled Services provides both medical and social case management to worker's compensation companies, insurance companies, private pay consumers and large employer groups, along with outsourcing to various MCO's. I would give them zero stars if possible. The Scranton office is in disarray. The Supervisor is incompetent and rude. Further, she blames the PAS's for a lack of aides. She does not like disabled people who have a voice and can stand up for themselves. I reported ALMA to the Office of Long Term Living for a threatening letter I received implying that I would lose my benefits if I didn't find another company in 30 days. They truly be should your last choice if you live in NE PA. I have found a new company who hopefully can straighten out my case.
