Glover Shade was started in Chicago in the 1930s as a neighborhood shade company. Since then we have grown into a regional provider of the finest custom window treatments available including shutters, shojis, draperies, and many different types of blinds and shades. We are a third generation family-owned business that has continued to stay on the cutting edge of new and fashionable window treatments throughout the years.

Shutters are a classic that never go out of style and can add a whole new dimension to a room. We offer a wide selection of shutters including both the traditional and plantation styles. These styles come with a number of different choices for louver size. You can choose from most commercially available hard woods, such as birch, oak, and cherry, and all of our shutters are solid wood.

Solar Shades

Solar shades are an excellent way to control both the amount of light and the amount of heat that come in through a window opening. We have a large selection of solar screen fabrics to choose from that allow different amounts of sunlight into a room. Blackout fabrics are great for bedrooms and only allow a small amount of light in around the edge of the window.

Fabric Roman shades are a traditional way to add elegance to a room. The soft fabrics can be casual or formal, but are always a beautiful addition to any room. A wide variety of fabrics and styles are available, or the shades can be made out of your fabrics if you choose. There are also a number of designs that can be created for the bottom of the shade including u-shaped, balloons, and inverted pleats.

Natural Woven Shades

Natural woven shades offer a unique way to address window coverings in that the the shade is made of pieces of wood woven together for a very distinctive look. These shades also boast a large variety of styles and patterns to choose from. The Roman style is the most popular selection for these shades and can be customized in a number different ways.
