Our hockey community is grieving the loss of senior members Gustavo Pesce and Jason Zvanut, in unrelated accidents. Both were outstanding hockey players, who contributed much to the development of our club, and US hockey in general. With a heavy heart, we bid them farewell. May they rest in peace, they will be sorely missed: underwater, and above.
Underwater Hockey is a fast, limited contact, sport played on the bottom of a pool by teams of 6 players with masks, snorkels, fins and short sticks. Players move the puck by pushing it or passing it, trying to get the puck into the opposing team's goal. Underwater Hockey is a co-ed sport in which men and women compete on equal terms.

What gear do I need
Report
To get started you need only a swimsuit. We will provide you with the following equipment and give you training on how to use it. Snorkel - You want to be able to breathe while scanning the bottom of the pool for the puck and your next position. Large bore (to get air quickly), streamlined designs are best.
Sean's View
Report
Technisub Sphera - Great vision that wraps around your face, but is less protective due to a lens and frams that can flex. When it does flex, it can develop leaks. Comfortable Silicon Mouthpiece - the last thing you need is a hard plastic or rubber mouthpiece that irritates you. You'll end up just throwing it away.
