Kent Circle
Kente Circle, LLC (Kente) is a mental health agency specializing in providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy to clientele living in Minneapolis, MN and its surrounding communities. Kente was founded by Larry G. Tucker, LMFT, and J. Phillip Rosier, LMFT in 2004. Kente is currently led by Larry G. Tucker and a clinically diverse staff with professional training in marriage and family therapy, psychology, and social work.

We are proud of our staff's cultural and ethnic diversity. Our staff has over 80 years of combined experience in the social service field.

Larry is an Adjunct Professor at St. Mary's University, Twin Cities Campus, in their Masters Program for Marriage and Family Therapy. Larry has 20 plus years of experience in the social service field. He is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, Minnesota MFT and LPC Board Approved Supervisor. Larry is also a trainer and consultant to agencies who are interested in enhancing their cultural knowledge and experiences with their staff and clients.

Our target population consists of diverse clientele in Minneapolis-St. Paul and surrounding communities. We are known for our work with children experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. Our clientele include individuals, couples, and families from various social, economic, ethnic, sexual orientation, religious, and spiritual backgrounds.
Co-Therapy In Depth

At Kente Circle we practice therapy in a unique way. Almost all of our clients have the benefit of having two therapists. Each client is paired with an Associate therapist and an Intern therapist who make up the co-therapy team. Co-therapy is at the heart and core of how Kente Circle Associate and Intern therapists work to accomplish our mission.
Internship Program

Graduate student interns are an integral part of Kente Circle's mission and work. Interns at Kente Circle gain valuable experience regarding relationship and team building, cultural competency, and self-of-the therapist issues. These experiences occur not only through trainings and supervision, but also in practice through co-therapy teams, cultural events, and group dialogue.

Larry G. Tucker, LMFT is now taking on supervisees who are working on meeting clinical supervision requirements for Minnesota Licensure. Larry is an AAMFT, MN MFT and LPC Board Approved supervisor. He emphasizes the importance of cultural, spiritual and personal growth issues in supervision.
