Arcata Artisans Gallery was founded in June 2003 by a collective of Humboldt County artists seeking to create a permanent space for showcasing local creativity. As a cooperative venture, we represent 22 talented artists who maintain a professional retail environment and gallery space in downtown Arcata. Our mission has remained consistent for over two decades: to provide both artists and the community with a high-quality venue for artistic expression and appreciation. Each member-owner contributes to the gallery's operations while maintaining their individual creative practices. Visitors can expect to find a diverse collection of original artworks spanning multiple mediums including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and fiber arts.The gallery's location on the historic plaza makes it a central hub for both residents and travelers exploring the North Coast's vibrant arts scene. Our rotating exhibits feature solo and group shows throughout the year, with detailed schedules available for planning visits. One of our artist-members is always present to provide insights into the works on display and share the stories behind each creation. We maintain regular operating hours seven days a week to accommodate various visitor schedules. For those unable to visit in person, our social media platforms offer virtual access to our current exhibitions and featured artists.

STUNNING. Absolutely gorgeous selection. Greeted with beautiful stationery, walking around this store blew me away. With a variety of photography, watercolor, and other art, I loved it all. Wooden cutting boards seemed far too ornate (and high quality) to actually dice my vegetables on.
Loved the local work and would definitely come back to see what new things they have on display.

There are so many talented artists in Humboldt, and this gallery is a wonderful showcase of the local community. A must see when visiting the Arcata Plaza.

Well there's lasagna then there's great exit lasagna and this was probably some of the best I've had I took two pictures because it's twice as good as anything in town make sure you tell Amber that I sent you in and chef Mike wonderful food
