The Greater Bridgeport Chapter of the AmericanGuild of Organists (AGO) was established in 1948. We are very lucky to have a wealth of fine instruments, talented Chapter Members, and a community that works together to promote educational, outreach and fine choral and organ performance events that inspire music lovers of all ages.

Katherine Jolliff will be an incoming student at Eastman School of Music, expecting to graduate in 2025 with a Bachelors of Music in Organ Performance. Our large and vibrant chapter of church musicians, performers, and music educators is notable for its warm welcome.

Our musicians work to introduce new audiences to choral and organ music, support our choirs and congregations, and be a supportive, vibrant, and warm community for our members, audience members, and guests.

Our large and vibrant chapter of church musicians, performers, and music educators is notable for its warm welcome, for our scholarship and continuing education opportunities, for bringing the pipe organ to new audiences, and most importantly, for our many talented members. Our members perform and produce a variety of wonderful programs, in addition to our Chapter events through the year.

A $2,500 annual award to a student studying organ performance in an American University M. Louise Miller Scholarship Fund - February annual solicitation. Annual Pipescream Halloween Musical Extravaganza featuring the area university and youth choirs, along with our super-talented member performers (week before Halloween).
About the AGO

The American Guild of Organists (AGO) is the preeminent and only professional organization in the U.S. dedicated 100% to the education and needs of the organist. The AGO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of 17,000 individual members associated with 300+ local geographic chapters.

The purpose of the American Guild of Organists is to promote the organ in its historic and evolving roles, to encourage excellence in the performance of organ and choral music, and to provide a forum for mutual support, inspiration, education, and certification of Guild members.Each chapter carries out the mission of the Guild in its geographic-specific area by offering local programs to its members and the public.

Katherine (Kat) Jolliff is an 18 year old organist from Indianapolis, Indiana. She began piano studies at the age of five and started learning the organ in her freshman year of high school from Marco Petricic (University of Indianapolis). After completing her first two years of high school, she finished her studies at Interlochen Arts Academy.
