Fire Sign Cafe has been a Lake Tahoe restaurant tradition for over 40 years. Owned by local Lake Tahoe restauranteurs and curated by chefs who have been with us for decades. From handcrafted baked goods, to homemade pesto, you will truly feel the comfort of coming home when you taste a bite.

Fire Sign Cafe has been around for 40 years serving up, hands down, the best breakfast in Tahoe! Breakfast, brunch and lunch or all sorts can be found here. There are gluten-free, non-dairy, vegetarian options too. Man-mosas are a thing here too. Everyone leaves happy and full.

The Annex is located in a building behind the main restaurant and serves to go coffee, tea, Bloody Marys and Mugmosas. If there is a wait at the restaurant, head on over to The Annex and enjoy a cup of coffee while relaxing. Hiking or boating early in the morning? Grab your coffee to go before you head out on your adventures.

We have been coming to this cafe for years and they have always delivered. Clean, nice place. They have a variety of choices on the menu. We have tried many sandwiches and hamburgers. They were all great. I RECOMMEND THIS CAFE.

Monthly get together with the girls + November birthdays! Usually try to pick someplace new to us. Beyond impressed, so worth the wait on a Sunday!! Hands down best pancakes ever, fresh squeeze OJ was perfection!! Worth the 90 min drive up the mountain for another visit in the future!!!

Fire Sign was the perfect place to stop for breakfast. We ordered a half serving of both the eggs Benedict and the French toast, a cup of fresh fruit, a side of sausage and a cup of fresh squeezed orange juice as well as a chai tea latte. My husband and I split everything and we left super full and very satisfied. everything was amazing!

Holy freakin YUM! This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I were staying up the street with some friends. We had some alone time and decided to make a brunch date out of this place, and to be honest, our expectations were exceeded.
I got the Cakes & Eggs deal, and I think my boyfriend got The Firesign Special with a side of bacon. I asked for the whole wheat pancakes and added strawberries and real maple syrup. I was expecting maybe 1 or 2 strawberry slices, but, no! They loaded it up!! While they were still doused in the sugary syrup and a ton of butter, I was so thankful to have Whole Wheat

Had a wonderful breakfast at the fire sign Cafe. Traditional breakfast favorites as well as many specialties of the house. They have some vegan and vegetarian selections also. The staff were friendly. Prices were moderate. A short walk from William Kent campground.

Do you need that perfect memory? How about around amazing food in a cozy setting?
Stumbled upon this gem of a cafe on our most recent trip to Tahoe.
Andrea is an attentive server but really, the entire team was friendly and relaxed.
Don't hesitate ordering their home baked item of the day!
This trip was made all the better with a trip to this cafe.
