If you don't find the book on our site, please order through our link to Bookshop where a vast collection of books can be shipped directly from our distributor! Our store is open from May through October, and you can visit us online all year long.

Visit our store located inside the Lilac Tree Inn entrance on Main Street on Mackinac Island. We are celebrating over 40 years since the opening of the Island Bookstore! Each season you'll find on our shelves dozens of books, spanning a variety of genres, bearing our "Staff Pick" sticker.
Previously located above historic Doud's Grocery, the Island Bookstore has been at its current location under the Lilac Tree Hotel for over 30 years, but has been serving the Straits Area for over a decade more.
