Beber Camp creates a community that challenges and nurtures fun, individual and community based growth, and Jewish identity in a safe, positive and diverse environment with exceptional professional leadership. I love that Beber is a well rounded traditional camp experience. The kids made very strong friendships this summer and we appreciate the socialization they get away from electronic devices.
Both kids come home with more self confidence. I really feel like Beber takes care of the whole person from physical activity, friendships, and spiritual growth. According to my son, Beber's strength is the connections he makes with the staff and campers while he is there. He had a fantastic time and we felt that he was in a safe, nurturing, Jewish environment.

We feel a tremendous responsibility for our campers' Jewish experience and outcomes. We seek to make Jewish life meaningful, engaging, accessible, and fun to all members of our community. We do this by means of providing Jewish education and encouraging intentional engagement with Jewish practices and tradition.
Shabbat – All Summer, All Year, All Life

At Beber Camp, we strive to make Shabbat everyone's favorite day of the week. We do this by making the day full of beautiful ritual and sacred moments, spiritual connection, and moments of prayer, and by nurturing our strong, intimate sense of community. While our campers may only have three Shabbats at camp each summer, our hope is that this Shabbat Book will help each person celebrate Shabbat at home, enriched with Beber ritual and tradition.
Camper Life Cycle

The Makor division is home to Beber Camp's youngest campers. During the summer, Makor campers are introduced to a well-rounded view of all program areas and the experience is focused on building relationships and developing new skills. Many of our Makor campers are away from home for the first time and their counselors make sure they get the attention and care needed to make the most of their experience.
