Wildhaven's goal is to serve as stewards of God's creation through rescue, protection, and conservation of its wild creatures; and in doing so, bring further fulfillment of mankind by experiencing part of the relationship The Creator had in mind between man and animal. With our native wildlife species, each with their own story and history, and their biographical information, we strive to offer the best in education.

History
Report
The San Bernardino Mountains Wildlife Society (SBMWS), the vision and passion of Diane Dragotto Williams, has been in existence since 1994. A long-time resident of the Lake Arrowhead mountain community, Diane was concerned about the vanishing forest habitat and the decline of wildlife as development engulfed the area.
Meet Our Animal Ambassadors
Report
When you adopt an Animal Ambassador for yourself, or as a gift for your family or friends, you invest directly into the life of that Wild One! You help supply food and veterinary care for a creature that was once injured or orphaned! You can make a difference to that Animal Being! In the Lopez Lake Recreation Area, this bear cub was found wandering in the forest looking for food.
Wildlife Articles
Report
Approaching spring, we have the privilege of watching many wild birds giving birth, and raising their young. But there are common problems that arise for our feathered friends during this delicate time. If you find a nestling on the ground, do you try to save it, or leave it? There is an "old wives tale" that says: if you handle a baby bird, the parents will detect human touch, and abandon the nestling.
Paws N’ Claws
Report
Allows groups an "up close and personal" experience with indigenous mammals such as bobcat, raccoon, fox, coyote, deer and bear. It is our hope that these encounters with our native wildlife will educate participants about the importance of wildlife preservation and the need for the intelligent conservation of our natural environment.
