Worst French fries ever. They literally tasted like they had been reheated several times and everyone knows what that reheated fry taste is like, disgusting. Being charged $16 for fish and chips and being given grade D food is disrespectable, deplorable and churlish. My last time getting food from there. The people were nice, but food that low frequency, and coming in styrofoam shiuld cost way less.

Today I decided to have lunch at this resturant. I ordered my food and while waiting on my order I happen I looked over to see the employee use his BAREHANDS to grab my hush puppies to cook them. Then when he noticed I saw him, he used the tongs to take my fish out. I addressed the owner of the establishment, to only received a nonchalant response of " oh I can have him remake you some hush puppies but I won't refund you for the fish" . In the times we are in during this pandemic, it's very unsanitary to handle food WITHOUT gloves of any sort . Wouldn't recommend. 0 stars if was possible.

My boyfriend and I got takeout from Ray's yesterday (8/5/21). My boyfriend got the catfish & I got fish 'n chips... both were outstanding! We plan on going back again real soon.

Staff was very friendly, making it a warm environment. But my fish and chips was tasteless, no season the fish, burnt fries. I had a plate full of tasteless mushy items. I’m only speaking on my order fish and chips.

The bartended was extremely nice. I ordered fish n chips. The food tasted like it was fried in old oil and the fries were burnt. I should of checked the food before I left. They also put your food in Styrofoam containers. This is so unhealthy for you and the food.
I will not be going back. They need to learn to dump the old oil at night and cook your food in fresh clean oil. I'm learning to cook at home more and more.

Hands down the best fish and chips that I found in the greater Orlando area serving Orlando for over 20 years. I would highly recommend that you try the fried clams they are the most tender amazing fried clams you will have. The signature dish is the fried cod. My lunch today fried clam appetizer and haddock fish n chips lunch special with a Heineken.

Walked in to a quaint and friendly atmosphere; assuming the owner was making rounds having meaningful conversations at each table. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. I will be back to try the gumbo!
