Plano Power Equipment started out in 1962 as Plano Motor Mart in the old Inter-Urban railroad station on 15th Street, a block from old downtown Plano. After a few years, we expanded into a little two-door garage at one end of the building next door. The other end was occupied by a bicycle shop. Plano was a lot smaller then.
As Plano grew, so did we. The bicycle shop moved out and we quickly filled up the new space with our ever-growing inventory. Our customer base was growing, too. Our reputation for quality products and good service brought us regular customers from Richardson, McKinney, Sherman, Dallas, Fort Worth, and even Oklahoma.

While a lot of people use the Internet for shopping, probably many more are looking for help with products they already have. Traditionally, the outdoor power equipment industry has been slow to embrace new technology. Such major players as Honda and Echo were late getting onto the world wide web. Even today, most official material is focused on new equipment rather than providing service after the sale.
How to Determine Size of Replacement Saw Chain
Report
We sell replacement chains for most brands of chain saw. There are three basic measurements needed to determine the replacement chain. The first is the pitch, or the distance between drive lugs on the chain and it determines whether the chain will fit the sprocket. Most consumer saws use a type of 3/8" chain called "low profile".
Honda Model Number and Serial Number Locations
Report
Model numbers and serial numbers can mean the difference between getting the right part and the wring one. For most Honda equipment, the base model number is on the starter cover, the engine cowling or another prominent location on the frame. The serial numbers are a little more difficult to find. Honda equipment generally has a serial number for the frame, and one for the engine.
