As a classical voice and piano teacher with over 10 years of performance and teaching experience, it is my joy to provide professional, creative, quality lessons to students of all ages. Studio Policies
Report
Parents are encouraged to become actively involved in the student's musical education. Helping your child practice daily and occasionally attending lessons will greatly boost the child's success. Questions and observations are welcomed and encouraged. Please save these questions and comments until after the lesson, so as not to confuse or distract the student.
Certificate of Merit
Report
Desert Jewel Music is honored to offer the Certificate of Merit through MTAC, The Music Teachers' Association of California, Temecula Valley Branch. The process is definitely demanding, and may not be right for every student. If a student fails in one or more categories, then they have to be retested at the same level the following year.
Free Exercises

For piano students preparing for the Certificate of Merit or who just want to review the scales, chords, chord progressions and cadences we've been learning in lessons, check out these free exercises! The Certificate of Merit is an evaluation program of the Music Teachers' Association of California.
Charter Schools
Report
If your child is enrolled in Dimensions Collaborative School or River Springs Charter School you may use your vendor allowance towards piano or voice lessons through Desert Jewel Music. Simply make arrangements with your EC/ES/EF and contact me to find the best lesson times to suit your schedule. Lessons slots are reserved for students who commit to lessons year-round, even though charter schools do not pay for 12 months of lessons.
Tuition
Report
Hymn playing instruction is available to anyone interested, and can be included in the regular lesson. This flat monthly fee covers all lessons in a month, which is 4 or 5 depending on the month (and 3 in December). Missed lessons are not credited toward tuition. Half-hour lessons outside of the flat monthly rate are $35 per voice lesson and $30 per piano lesson.
